This is a non-programmable room thermostat with a switch, designed for use with a variety of devices. It works by sensing the air temperature, turning on the heating when the air temperature drops below the thermostat setting, and turning it off when the set temperature is reached. Setting the controller to a higher temperature will not make the room heat up faster. The heating rate of the room depends on the design and size of the room.
